As a member of the National Society Daughter of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) you have many opportunities to honor your ancestor's patriotism with participation in the Society's many activities.  
DAR is a nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women's service organization and membership is open to any woman 18 years of older with a proven lineage to an ancestor who helped in the efforts to achieve American independence. Click here for a complete list of accepted Revolutionary War service.
